About Unigarant, the ANWB’s insurance company
‘So, you think insurance is boring? Well, you haven’t met us yet!’
We are the ANWB’s own insurance company, based in Hoogeveen – in the east of the Netherlands – since 1977. In 2019, we achieved significant growth in turnover in almost all our product groups, but particularly so in travel, bicycle and car insurance.
Our products and services make it possible for everyone to leave home securely and enjoy carefree travel and mobility. We are already making the insurance products of the future. What about our car insurance, which helps you save money by driving safely, or having a ‘track & trace’ transmitter fitted to your bike, or home insurance that comes complete with a smart home-security package?
Our team at Unigarant is made up of more than 600 colleagues who all work together to help our customers with advice and their claims day in, day out.

The selection procedure

Once you have uploaded your CV and posted your motivation letter on our website, your application will be reviewed by our Recruiter, Carolien Manning. If we think you could be the right candidate, you will be invited to take part in a virtual (online) initial interview with one of our – section – managers, our Recruiter or HR advisor, or a combination of these people. If you and we are still enthusiastic after that conversation, then your online introduction will continue as you meet your future colleagues. If everything proves to be a match and you have received and accepted the offer of an employment contract, you will start our on-boarding process. A key factor in that process is ensuring that you become and remain a ‘fan’ of Unigarant because we believe the most important thing is a happy colleague! You will be assigned a work buddy and given comprehensive help and guidance with your personal development, the work itself and your job satisfaction and enjoyment.
