Central Government Audit Service | Auditdienst Rijk
The Auditdienst Rijk is the independent internal auditor of the Dutch central government, as well as the Audit Authority on behalf of the European Commission in the Netherlands. We are commissioned by all ministries to perform audits encompassing financial, organizational and IT subjects, including management of European cash flows. Our audits help to improve the performance of the Dutch central government. Over 600 employees contribute to this improvement. Approximately, 60% of our auditors perform financial audits. Others are working as operational and IT-auditors. Auditors from the Auditdienst Rijk have the required expertise, are independent, and work near our clients. Therefore, we perform our work either on site or remotely from home. While officially part of the ministry of Finance, the Auditdienst Rijk works for and from all ministries in The Hague. Other offices are located in Apeldoorn, Groningen, Utrecht and Zwolle. Within our informal business environment, not a single day is the same and our work carries societal importance.
